A wonderful array of hanks and balls of spun silks were collected up together and divided into “scarf sets” each approximately 120 grammes. These were given to weavers in the Guild to use for the warp. Fine commercial silk of an appropriate colour has been used for the weft in the weave.

The transformation of each pack of yarns into a unique and beautiful scarf was quite unpredictable and a lovely surprise.
